Our Story
CUDU Silicone Rings was founded by brothers, Rudi and Rynhardt.
Rudi stopped wearing his original wedding ring in 2019 due to his active lifestyle and working environment. His wife then gifted him with a silicone one. He loved the concept, but not the feel, quality and even the look of the ring and knew there had to be something better out there.
In 2020 the idea of offering a safe, durable and comfortable yet stylish and premium silicone ring to wear as an alternative to your traditional wedding ring was frequently discussed between the brothers as a possible business venture.
So, they decided to give this idea a go! Research began and quality suppliers were identified, moulds were manufactured and after months of various ring designs, samples, different silicones and lots of trial and error the CUDU Silicone Ring was finally born.
The first CUDU Silicone Ring was sold in April 2021 and has since become a big favourite amongst professional athletes, fitness enthusiasts, runners, outdoor and adventure lovers and those hard working hands in the medical, mechanical and construction industry.
